Lindsay Moldovan (she/her)

Marriage and Family Therapy Associate

OR R0609; WA MG.60998914

Hi there! I'm Lindsay, and I occupy a whole lot of this world's grey areas of identity. I'm a half-Chinese, half-Jewish (ethnically), chronically ill, neurodivergent, fat, queer, cisgender, nerdy-ass human.

My practice is informed by my own experiences in the cycles of burnout that come with existing within these in-between spaces. I'm a strong advocate for connecting to your intuition - your "gut voice" or core self - in order to break down the boxes you've been told to fit into, challenge both internal and external "shoulds," and allow yourself to exist in the ways that work best for you, your brain, and your body.

I believe that an important part of burnout recovery is identifying and expanding sources of joy within your day-to-day. Joy in my life has always been connected to food, cooking, and eating. If you're looking to explore this part of your life, I'd love to help support you.

My other joys currently consist of crochet, music, game nights, and spending time with my husband and our cats (my occasional co-therapists - the cats, not the husband).

Background & Approach

My therapy style is eclectic, drawing from Internal Family Systems, Narrative, Emotion Focused, and Structural models of therapy. Sessions with me are not super structured, meaning we will always be working toward your larger goals while allowing flexibility to explore emotions and experiences that may come up in the moment. I may occasionally offer worksheets and structured skills when helpful, but it's not my main focus.

I completed my Masters in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy at Lewis & Clark College. Prior to that, I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Social Behavior at UC Irvine.

I am currently supervised by:

- April Waggoner, PhD, LMFT, LPC

- Sarah Ellenwood, LPC, LMFT
